In light of the worldwide events after the death of George Floyd and the international protest and awareness that it’s created, I reached out to several people I know from the black community and asked them if they’d like to join me for an important conversation.
I wanted to find out what life is really like for them, how they feel about the world, and most importantly… where we go from here.
I interview six people ranging in age from 74 to 21, and from various backgrounds. They offer their perspectives on systemic racism, answer some questions about what it means to be black in America today, and talk openly about the future.
Please join us for this poignant and moving episode.
